Implementation Specialist

Job Description:

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the implementation of GIACT services to its external clients. One of the main goals of this role is to review clients' product enrollment and gather relevant requirements in order to develop an implementation plan accordingly. The Implementation Specialist ensures implementations are completed on time, to contract and to client expectations. The role also provides support to sales and client relations teams in pre-sales, product demonstrations and assistance in prioritizing client needs based on their individual use case.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product evaluation testing for client; prepare results analysis and summary writeups for use by sales and for presentation to the client

  • Interact with Product Management, Development, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of new products and enhancements, ensuring products meet product requirements and quality standards

  • Participate in initiatives to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality

  • Verify that projects produce the required results of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case

  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities

  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence

  • Identify areas where it is an advantage to work with other teams to improve internal processes and efficiency

  • Contribute to Giact's revenue goals through proactive participation in identifying the clients use case gaps and solving for those with additional Giact services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred (equivalent experience may be substituted)

  • 3+ years of implementation experience, including tracking, planning and execution

  • 3+ years of product and/or systems testing

  • Experience working in a financial institution/banking background

  • Good interpersonal and motivational skills with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across multiple business and technology teams to achieve common business objectives

  • Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems and identifying priorities

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)

  • Ability to quickly obtain fundamental knowledge and understanding of company products, systems and procedures

  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Some experience leading, motivating and managing various projects is preferred, including internal and external resources, while holding partners accountable

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills

  • History of working with transaction processing systems preferred

  • Experience testing Web-Services and APIs (REST/SOAP) preferred
