Location: St. Louis, MODescription: Position: Junior AuditorLocation: Remote or in St. Louis What you'll do: This team member takes on the responsibility of partnering with the compliance department on various pre-funding and post-closing Quality Control audits. By using the necessary understanding of residential mortgage loans and mortgage loan products they will work through deadlines and with business partners to meet requirements.Responsibilities:--- Perform pre-funding QC audits of loans final underwriting approved, but not yet closed.--- Review and remediate audit findings from third-party QC vendor. --- Summarize and log audit findings in the QC system for reporting purposes. --- Participate in the development of future enhancements to the loan audit process. --- Conduct vendor sampling audits of third-party QC vendor --- All other compliance related assignments as required for agency/regulatory compliance Requirements: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. --- Minimum 5 years mortgage experience with an emphasis in Processing, Unwriting or Auditing preferred --- Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines --- General knowledge of Encompass Database and Microsoft Suite --- Demonstrated ability of prompt service level response time --- Displays a positive attitude, strong planning and execution, and a solid work ethic Contact: mlangendorf@judge.comThis job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
