Job Description Scheduler/Production Planner Top International Steel Trader Location: St. Louis, MO, United States Duties include, but not limited to: Plan and prepare production schedules and work orders Analyze production specifications and capacity data to coordinate meeting customer orders and implementing forecasting and analytical tools Raw material release Customer claims Monthly fuel surcharge, and Inventory KPI measurements Effective interaction with all personnel at the facility and the ability to work through complex situations. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within our company; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: Experienced in Microsoft Office Basic accounting skills High School graduate or GED Preferred Qualifications: Understanding and experience with ERP driven MRP programs Commitment to self-improvement, cost reduction, product quality, and customer service 4-year college degree in related field Strong computer skills with multiple software platforms
