Job Description Job Description We are hiring full-time delivery
drivers. Contractor is seeking self-motivated, reliable drivers to
deliver packages for FedEx in Southwest St. Louis City and County.
Shifts begin between 8:00-9:00 am and will be a minimum of 5 days
per week. (Six days per week between Thanksgiving and Christmas)
Qualifications are listed below and MUST be met for consideration.
-21 years old -Class E license in MO or class D in IL -Clean
driving record -Clean criminal background, NO felonies in last 10
years -Be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test Job Duties:
-Lift, load/unload various size packages up to 150 lbs, anything
from envelopes to small furniture/appliances, majority are 5 to 15
pounds -Safely operate a delivery truck and accurately deliver
packages to residential and business customers -Utilize the
provided scanner to record and track deliveries -Work at a
reasonable pace to be able to complete an assigned route; average
route is 130 stops -Be courteous and careful with customers and
packages, this is a customer service industry -Above all, perform
the work SAFELY and efficiently This job is not difficult; however,
it is fast-paced and somewhat labor intensive. There is a fair
amount of walking and stairs. Paid training is provided. Serious
