What you will be doingAs one of our regional OTR drivers, you will be the face of FMC Transport, safely delivering petroleum based products like gasoline, diesel, fuel ethanol, bio-diesel, propane, butane, and asphalt. You will be on the road up to 5 nights a week as needed, ensuring timely, professional service that keeps the Midwest running. Your day to day will include •Operate tanker trucks to transport liquid cargo to designated locations. •Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. •Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials. •Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation throughout the transportation process. •Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. •Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. •Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
