About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Paralegal to join the Subpoena &
Garnishment Unit within the LREIP section of the Legal Department
reporting to the Business Execution Manager in the Midwest region.
The Paralegal role requires a well-organized self-starter with good
analytical abilities, strong communication skills and the
capability to manage multiple responsibilities within the legal
department. This position is available in St. Louis, MO.
In this role, you will:
Provide support to a specialized area within the Legal Department
using a high degree of analytical, communication and organizational
skills
Work with subpoena production and appearances
Work with in-house counsel and engage with 3rd party attorneys
Review and compile routine and complex subpoena productions and
other various legal documents and advise company personnel on such
matters
Prepare agreements, legal documents and correspondence relating to
non-litigation and litigation matters according to specified
content and format
Handle operational functions including requesting documentation and
keeping internal files current
Provide research and background investigation under the general
direction of an attorney
Research and resolve issues and matters which may involve
substantial legal or factual complexity through detailed research
and examination of documentation and factual investigation
Present recommendations and exercise some independent judgement
while developing specialty expertise
Identify issues in area of expertise and work independently on
complex assignments with limited supervision

Experience with litigation
Experience working with Brokers/Dealers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and
accuracy
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and
PowerPoint) skills
