6J7BP2Interested in working in an area that provides a product to
some of the major fighter platforms currently being flown around
the world? Interested in ensuring that the warfighter has the
latest and greatest capabilities at their fingertips? If so, the
Combat Environment Simulation (CES) team is looking for several
Software Engineers to be part of a dynamic team that models the
constructive environments in support of flight training devices for
several fixed wing fighter programs. The final product is utilized
by experienced instructors to create realistic and high fidelity
training scenarios to simulate real-world combat scenarios in order
to maintain mission readiness and train the next generation of
fighter pilots. Engineers on this team are responsible for all
phases of the modeling lifecycle including derived requirements,
architecture, design, implementation and test. This includes the
tools and applications associated with the planning, operating,
monitoring and controlling of a real time constructive forces
simulation. They are also directly involved in planning their own
work as part of the agile methodology, with a focus on technical
excellence and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will:
- Have knowledge of radar, electronic warfare, infrared
environment, weapon systems, physics, JMPs and MATLAB is a
- Have software skills, as the suite of applications this group
is responsible for is varied across many software languages.
- Be willing to work extended hours when needed.
- Be willing to assist other members of the development team in
the performance of day-to-day operations in a fast-paced agile
- Occasional domestic travel may be required.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A
U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months
is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Bachelor Degree or higher in engineering, computer science,
mathematics or physics. ABET is the preferred, although not
required, accreditation standard.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- Knowledge of languages such as C, C++, C#, or Fortran.
- Knowledge of Physics (dynamics, RF, IR).
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification:
Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree
with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree
from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer
science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred,
