Job Description:

Modis has an immediate job opening for a contract to hire EDI Analyst in  St Louis MO area.  Candidates that qualify for this job will have experience in creation of EDI file mapping and SQL programming skills. This is a long-term opportunity with GREAT pay and EXCELLENT work environment!
 
Job Responsibilities

• 
  

• Creating mapping for import and processing of Proprietary and ANSI electronic data files
• Utilize Delta ECS or equivalent software for file processing
• Establish process improvement including auto notifications
• Develop a complete and comprehensive project plan
• Manage resources to deliver in accordance with the plan
• Manage client expectations
• Root cause analysis
• Development of timely and innovative solutions, with optimal use of technology and human resources
• Query databases in response to business inquiries
• Conducting system & integration testing
• Assist with material utilized for training purposes
• Respond, address and resolve IssueTrak tickets in a detailed and professional manner
• Manage multiple tickets and combine efforts when necessary
• Adhere to Corporate Policies

 
Job Qualifications

• 
  

• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to assimilate new and existing technologies, and 3rd party products
• Exemplary verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with IT customers and resources, external trading partners, and upper management
• Ability to be effective in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to relate to a diversity of customers and requests
• Ability to identify with customer needs and circumstances
• Proven experience in creation of EDI file mapping
• 2+ years’ experience with ANSI x12 and HIPPA standard formats
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL programming skills
• Experience with writing functional design documents, troubleshooting complex EDI failures, and with unit testing methods
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Self-Motivated

 
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited college or university, and/or one (1) to five (5) years enterprise system experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
