!!THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN ST. LOUIS CITY!!This position focuses on responding to requests for technical support of software, hardware, telephone, printer and audio-video conferencing. As a member of our helpdesk team, the IT Support Specialist provides timely solutions to end users using both remote access and desk side support. Successful candidates must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team. The hours of the position are Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. This position offers an excellent salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package including major medical plans, 401(k) plan and paid parking.Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to IT Help Desk requests via telephone, email, both remotely, and in-person.
  • Track all end-user support activities through the incident tracking system.
  • Diagnose and resolve end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware problems and software, e-mail, Internet, and local-area network access problems.
  • Assist users with document production and editing software and workflows - including Microsoft Word/Excel; PDF creation and editing; document management software; document comparison and metadata removal software; document transfer software; and similar electronic filing tools.
  • Deliver, tag, and configure end-user PC desktop hardware, software, and peripherals, as needed and assigned.
  • Develop and maintain an advanced level of proficiency with software and hardware in use.
  • Work independently to research and resolve complex technical issues.Requirements
    • Two years of experience working in an IT support role, experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus.
    • Advanced knowledge of the Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, desktop/laptop hardware, mobile devices. Knowledge of working with videoconferencing equipment, enterprise software systems, printers, mobile device management, and other software applications.
    • The successful candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
    • Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals, including ability to test and troubleshoot a variety of complex hardware configurations.
