Our Software Architect will act as a key collaborator in the digital transformation of XTRA Lease while enjoying:

• Tuition Reimbursement program As a Software Architect your typical day would include:
  • Participating in the development, testing, and implementation of software
  • Providing guidance to developers on Architecture, Frameworks, Patterns, Designs, and best practices
  • Ensuring that architectural frameworks, patterns, and designs are scalable, reliable, secure, supportable, and achieve business performance
  • Participating in architecture assessments for system retirements and migrations to new platforms
  • Supporting web services, messaging, and stored procedures
  • Partnering with business operations to strategize about company needs and interacting with end users to fine tune the results Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business or related degree
    • 7+ years' experience working in IT in an enterprise-level, multi-tier environment
    • Experience working as a software architect
    • Experience utilizing the following design skills: --- Software design patterns, including cloud native design patterns and best practices
      --- Cloud design fundamentals (Azure or multi-cloud experience a bonus)
      --- Experience with building and managing NuGet packages and repositories
      • Demonstrated ability in the following technical areas: --- dotnet ( framework and core ) --- Web services and API's ( WFC, asmx, SOAP, RESTful ) --- Docker ( bonus with windows experience ) --- CI/CD fundamentals ( Jenkins, Octopus deploy, Nuget, etc) --- Angular 2+ / NPM / typescript and JavaScript experience --- GIT --- RDBMS ( SQL Server ) and TSQL ( stored procedures and functions ) --- Redis Cache ( or Memcached ) --- Rabbit MQ ( or other AMPQ protocol messaging solutions) --- PowerShell
        • Not required (but nice to have):
          --- Docker on linux, with dotnet core ( bonus with kubernetes or docker machine / swarm) --- BASH / DASH shell experience, Experience with v-shere and Terraform (infrastructure as code) --- Experience with Azure ARM powershell / API's --- gRPC with dotnet core --- Micro-services experience
