You will help us build a host of libraries, generators and themes to enable our development community to rapidly and consistently produce modern web applications that are speedy, scalable and maintainable. Your skills and expertise will help shape the next generation of digital products at our Firm.We are looking for a developer to join our Design System team. As a developer on this team some of the things you will be doing:Use HTML/CSS/Javascript to write clean, standards-compliant, scalable, reusable, quality code with cross platform/browser compatibility.Use core web technologies and frameworks to create libraries, generators and themes that can be used by other developers.Write clear, concise documentation for existing and developed technologies.Establish front-end patterns and best practices that ensure accessible and highly usable digital systems and services.Work closely with designers, product managers and other engineers to help grow our design system and keep it relevant.Help create and refactor our codebase to make it more modular, scalable, and well-documented.Help to make decisions about technologies we'll use to develop and evolve our design system.Lead the development and production of front-end HTML, CSS, and JS systems and applications.Perform analysis, programming, bug-fixing, performance-tuning, testing, and documentation of front-end systems.Identify possible areas of improvement in existing codebases to increase usability and maintainability.Skills: What we are looking for:7+ Years of hands-on experience in building and deploying web applications and systems.Expert knowledge of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript).Expert knowledge of unit testingStrong proficiency with React, TypeScript, NodeJS, AWS, ES6 Strong visual and aesthetic sense - a portfolio of past projects is a plus.Great interpersonal skills and a willingness to go above and beyond when collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineersGood to know:SASS, LESS, CSS pre-processors, Grunt, Gulp, NPM, Webpack, Underscore, D3, MySQL, MongoDB, Heroku, Cucumber, Karma, Mocha, Jasmine, Jenkins, Travis CI, Bootstrap

• Knows how to setup their environment and tooling, confident using chrome tools. Merges Git branches like a champ and writes autotests for breakfast. Works well with designers and comfortable using graphics tools for comps such as Sketch or Photoshop. Understands modern font implementations and icon libraries.
