Position: Sr Digital Product Owner -- Client Onboarding and Account Technology

The Operations division is looking for a Senior Digital Product Owner to lead multiple product teams focused on delivering value within the client onboarding experience. From a seamless onboarding workflow that includes a contact profile and account opening system to online and mobile applications for clients and our branch teams, we combine operational efficiency with design thinking and agile delivery within a product management framework. We work with key stakeholders and business partners from across the firm to help deliver an onboarding experience that enables human-centered complete wealth management.

This role will have accountability for a suite of digital operations products that enables a tailored onboarding experience by delivering contemporary and integrated technology. The position has a broad scope of responsibility and requires interpretation of user feedback, managing stakeholder relationships across the firm, deep understanding of one or more complex systems and information to make subjective decisions that have substantial risk and/or legal, regulatory or financial implications. Additionally, the role will have direct responsibility for the attraction, development and leadership of a team of Business Analysts and is expected to cultivate a spirit of collaboration and belonging across a diverse group of individuals.


  • The Senior Product Owner serves as the individual accountable for one or more systems, leading a multi-disciplinary and cross-divisional product team to deliver value to internal and external customers of the Firm.
  • Responsible to the Product Manager of Client Onboarding & Accounts Technology, this individual aligns strategy to execution through the development and maintenance of their product roadmap, outlining the body of work expected now, next, and into the future.
  • This work includes management of system plans and supporting artifacts encompassing resource needs, stakeholder solution requirements, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and success criteria as necessary to deliver on the promised business value.
  • Success in this role requires depth and breadth of subject matter expertise inside and outside the Client Onboarding product area, as well as a foundational understanding of Product Management and Design Thinking theory, and the ability to expand these capabilities within the organization.
  • The Senior Digital Product Owner will work with other firm leaders to attract, develop and drive a team of high performing associates, and will play a pivotal role in their ongoing personal and professional development.
  • This person will lead their matrixed product team though influence as well as task assignment authority, mentoring and coaching all team members to fulfill the product vision.
  • This individual will additionally advise and align with adjacent product teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive progression of the product strategy. Requirements:
    • Bachelor--s degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or related field;
    • FINRA Series 7 (must obtain within first twelve months of employment)
    • Minimum 7+ years of experience within financial services industry
    • Broad and deep knowledge of financial services concepts, practices, and procedures, with emphasis in Trading Systems
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Detail orientation with strong analytical capabilities;
    • Ability to overcome ambiguity and deliver results;
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate and direct work in a way that maximizes both personal and team efficiency;
    • Teamwork / collaboration mindset with the ability to work with stakeholders throughout the organization;
    • A robust understanding of full-cycle software development within an Agile framework;
    • Product orientation with a strong sense of ownership.
