  • Implement and enhance web based systems in Java and JavaEE that are either based on commercial package or built from scratch.
    • Research, evaluate and recommend NoSQL solutions (existing & emerging) and best use cases for them. Assist Development Teams in designing, modeling and validating NoSQL solutions for their applications.
      • Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes. Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure. Work with other software developers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
        • Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure. Design and develop systems based on AWS Serverless, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.
          • Provide documentation such as Technical Specifications and Project Release Documentation during each phase of project development.
            • Follow IT security standard and pass penetration test for external applications. Support and solve security related issues raised by penetration teams.
              • Transform requirements into stipulations. Ensure designs comply with specifications. Support continuous improvement, invest alternatives and technologies, present architectural review; and
                • Lead and monitor other software engineers working the same projects. Make sure projects are delivered on time.Job Requirements:Employer requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field, and at least three (3) years of work experience with full stack web development; object-oriented programming skills, such as Java, Javascript; and cloud computing techniques such as AWS.Additionally, the successful candidate must have:
                  • Demonstrated knowledge of relational database such as MySQL and non-relational database such as, MongoDB gained through at least three (3) years of work experience;
                    • Demonstrated ability with backend development utilizing Java/J2EE, JSF framework, and Spring framework gained through at least three (3) years of work experience;
                      • Demonstrated knowledge writing JUnit Test cases and contributing to a team within a development unit testing function gained through at least three (3) years of work experience;
                        • Demonstrated knowledge of REST API and design pattern implementation gained through at least three (3) years of work experience; and
