Windows Server Admin Job in St.Louis, MO
Modis has 2 immediate job opening for an Intermediate/Senior
Windows Server Administrator job in the St.Louis, MO area.
Candidates that qualify for this job will have 5+ years of
Windows Server experience. The Admin will be
responsible for Windows Server Support/Administration, IIS
troubleshooting and supporting applications as applicable.
This is a long term position offering competitive benefits!
Company also offers casual dress, your own office, flex time and
work from home option. Manager is looking to interview and
start the right candidate as soon as possible!
Client is looking for seasoned Windows resources that have
experience supporting 50+ Windows servers, IIS is a must and VMWare
is just a plus. Candidates need to have web build and
support experience within IIS. VMWare and Powershell are a
plus, but not required.
Required skills:
- At least 5 years of Windows Server Administration experience
- Strong II admin/troubleshooting experience
- Active Directory
- DNS
- Powershell (highly desired)
- At least 3 years of VMWare Admin. (highly desired)
- Strong customer service
- IP experience
Job Responsibilities:
Windows Administration - 40-50%
IIS Admin/Troubleshooting – 20%
Active Directory/DNS – 25%
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years’
experience as a Windows Server Administrator and strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to
work independently and in team environments. Ability to analyze
complex situations, negotiate and position solutions towards
Company strategic plans. Excellent execution skills. Knowledge of
network infrastructure, server configuration and setup, and
security practices. Understands the rigors of a 24x7 hosting
environment and able to maintain positive outlook during stressful
situations.
