The Human Resources Manager provides human resource services in one
or more of the following functions: employee relations,
compensation, talent management, benefits, payroll, staff
development and training, organizational development and
recruiting. They report to the MN, ND, SD Deputy Chapter
Director-Operations and Culture and may supervise other chapter HR
and administrative staff and functions. The preferred job location
is in-office, in the Twin Cities metro area (Minneapolis/St. Paul)
of Minnesota, however a hybrid work schedule can be considered.

The Human Resource Specialist serves as the primary point of
contact and leader for Human Resource functions for the MN, ND, SD
Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. They provide guidance and
assistance to all levels of personnel on various human resources
(People) related needs while supporting managers in all aspects of
personnel management, including recruitment and retention of a
diverse and talented workforce to meet TNC's organizational goals
and mission. This role is critical to ensuring that the MN, ND, SD
team has strong human resource support, guidance and leadership to
operate impactfully and efficiently, helping them to achieve their
conservation goals.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing
mission of conservation by directing and shaping the work of our
team! The ideal candidate should have strong process, communication
and collaboration skills and experience designing, organizing, and
directing projects.The starting salary range for this position is
$84,000 - $87,000 dependent on experience for those based in the
Twin Cities. Ranges may vary depending on candidate's location.
