DescriptionThe Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruiting, as well as creating and implementing a comprehensive and effective recruitment plan for the hospital. Will be responsible to recruit, screen, interview, and refer candidates best suited for job vacancies.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES"*" Denotes the essential job functions according to ADA guidelines.*1. In a cost-effective manner, determines and utilizes appropriate sources for finding external candidates through advertising, direct contact, job fairs, social media platforms, networking, or other identified methods. Manages and plans recruitment and retention activities within the limits of the approved budget.*2. Manages tracking system for applications and job requisitions. Oversees and is responsible for maintenance of applications and job requisitions.*3. Develops, implements, maintains HR Recruitment Metrics (ie. turnover, vacancy rates).*4. Assists directors, managers, and supervisors in determining appropriate salary offers based on a review of candidate experience, approved pay grades and the current staff pay rates. Obtains required approval for offers over range midpoint.*5. Manages on-boarding process, including, but not limited to, criminal background checks, reference checks, professional license or certification verifications, scheduling physicals, preparing offer letters and on-boarding paperwork, and obtaining other post offer data necessary to process a new employee.*6. Administers the internal transfer process. Acts as an advocate for in-house employees requesting transfer to an open position.*7. Maintains communication with and keeps applicants and hiring managers informed as they move through the recruitment process.*8. Develops relationships with the Lutheran School of Nursing and other nursing school programs to recruit talent.*9. Reviews and makes necessary revisions to job descriptions as required, assuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintaining integrity of the hospital's compensation philosophy and guidelines. Works with department managers and the HR Director on the creation of new jobs.*10. Assists the Director with the compensation program for the hospital. Completes surveys in a timely manner, and analyzes data to maintain the hospital's formal compensation structure. Stays abreast of market salary rates and recommends adjustments to Director.*11. Maintains hospital professional licensure and certification tracking, ensuring that employees professional licensure and certification is active. Responsible for keeping the Nursys online nursing licensure data up to date with current nursing personnel.*12. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in meaningful educational programs and by keeping current with literature related to human resources field.13. Performs other duties as assigned.Measured by: Supervisory observation and as reported by others..

Requirements:
RequirementsEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or minimum 5 years related experience in lieu of educationLICENSING/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION:Certified Internet Recruiter certification preferredEXPERIENCE:One or more years of recruitment experienceOne year of experience in a healthcare field strongly preferredOne or more years experience with electronic applicant tracking systems requiredSKILLS AND ABILITIES:Written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to form effective working relationshipsDemonstrated computer ability; experience with Microsoft Office products preferredWorking knowledge of Human Resources standards and laws related to full cycle recruitmentAbility to present materials 1:1 or in front of a groupAttention to detailAn individual without requisites stated above may present a written justification explaining the relevance of his/her background for a specific vacant position.
