Job Description:


  • Dental company looking for some Customer Service Representatives & Claim Clerks to assist with daily tasks including answering phones, emails, processing claims, updating account information, data entry, preparing information letters, etc. CLAIM CLERK POSITION DUTIES: - Process claims submitted for payment- Process claims submitted for predetermination - Review x-rays and make benefit determination or refer claim to consultant for decision - Prepare information request letters and/or contact dental offices for info neededCUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION DUTIES: - Provide assistance to dental offices, subscribers and group contacts via written and verbal communication. Investigates and resolvesproblems and communicates benefit information as requested-taking whatever steps necessary to resolve inquiry.- Daily call average is between 65-80 calls- Responds to customer inquiries (written, verbal and electronic) regarding benefits, participating doctors and eligibility.- Analyze claim problems and take appropriate action to ensure that the proper claim payment is made. Provide necessaryfollow-up and initiate correspondence.- Keep informed of benefit changes, new group enrollment and group terminations.- Actively seek refunds (collection) when necessary.QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED): depends on which position you are interested in
