Job DescriptionCoordinator, Catering SalesThe Catering Sales
Coordinator role provides key administrative support to a team of
catering sales representatives that generate more than $18 million
in annual sales revenue. This support includes both administrative
functions as well as coordination with internal customers and
business groups to ensure the sales representatives are able to
focus on growing their business and assisting new and existing
customers. The Catering Sales Coordinator must be committed to
continuous learning and show great flexibility and adaptability in
applying new as well as tried and true knowledge wherever it is
needed. This role is an extension of the catering sales team and a
great source of catering knowledge who shares their learning with
other internal associates.This position can be remote, work from
home. Preferred candidates will be in either Central Time Zone
(CST) or Pacific Time Zone (PST).The primary responsibilities of
this job include, but are not limited to: Administrator
- May assist with supporting the customer proposal processes by
creating new or modifications needed to existing proposals
- Implements CCA adjustments including adding/removing authorized
users on Accounts
- Completion of Preferred vendor forms
- Coordinating needs around ServeSafe Certificates and
certificate for insurance requests.
- Maintains all administrative processes with an eye for detail
and organization allowing the assigned catering sales team easily
access information as needed.
- Expertly and accurately maintains the data integrity of
Salesforce.comOrder Execution
- Assist with Café outreach when follow up is needed
- Catering Order support to ensure orders are delivered in a
timely fashion and according to the desire of the customer
- Understands all aspects of fulfilling catering orders and knows
the menu thoroughly
- Connect with Catering Operation Manager (where applicable) to
find solutions to customer orders that need attention
- When needed, bring the appropriate leaders together to
coordinate specific delivery needsBusiness Building Support
- As a business builder the Catering Sales Coordinator builds
trust and strong relationships with internal clients in support of
external customers to coordinate getting needs addressed.
- A strong problem solver who works with resolving issues with
missing and/or late orders with a cafes and billing issues.
- Through their excellent organization and keen prioritization
each order or issue receives the attention and follow up
required.
- Produces reports based on the needs of the assigned team
- Research key sales associate reports and processes for missing
sales credits, miss-keys, duplicate accounts.
- Can conduct basic analysis of data pulled from reports in
Salesforce.comQualifications include:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant work
experience can be taken in lieu of a formal education.
- Minimum 2 years in food service or sales experience
preferred
- 2 years' experience in an administrative role supporting a
team
- Strong communication skills – having the ability to communicate
to all levels within an organization
- Time Management, having a sense of urgency, proven
organizational and time management skills with the ability to
effectively prioritize tasks
- Detail orientated
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and
external customers
- Enthusiastic, energetic self-starter, able to work
independently as well as with a team
- Ability to coordinate and influence internal customers to
accomplish goals and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other similar customer
relationship management (CRM) software
- Must be fluent with the Microsoft suite products (Outlook,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Saint Louis Support Center
