Description: NOTE: Ideal Candidate will reside within Northwest territory. The purpose for the role of the Clinical Specialist Director is to execute discipline specific sales initiatives that develop and deliver innovative solutions, independent and in cooperation with our vendor partners, to help our members and prospective clients achieve improved healthcare outcomes and operational efficiencies while and reducing healthcare costs. The Clinical Specialist Director has territory level responsibility for increasing member utilization of Intalere's discipline specific contracts and services, and supports discipline specific consulting program growth through participating in collaborative selling efforts across Intalere's diverse membership. KEY RESULT AREAS Collaborate with assigned Directors of Member Solutions, vendor partners, and members to execute discipline specific sales strategies and tactics to achieve annual business plan objectives and deliver member value. Supports the development of and selling of discipline specific consulting services within and outside of current GPO membership base. Learns and effectively executes discipline specific portfolio sales strategies & campaigns within assigned geography of targeted accounts for Acute & Non Acute business growth. (E) Utilizes sales collateral & training to support achievement of discipline specific sales strategies. (M) Collaborates with assigned Acute, Non-Acute, Affiliate and Alliance partners to effectively execute discipline specific sales campaigns in support of achieving annual business objectives. (E) Coordinates with local vendor partners and membership in execution of discipline specific business objectives in order to drive improved healthcare quality and reduced healthcare costs for our members and increased market share for our vendor. (M) Completes frequent follow up calls/meetings with assigned Strategic, Non-Acute & Acute Sales Directors to ensure the successful execution, and tracking of discipline specific business objectives and sales strategies. (E) Utilizes CRM tracking tools to measure and report on the performance of discipline specific business objectives, sales strategies and territory performance. (M) Achieves closure of opportunities in efforts toward exceeding annual discipline specific budget expectations. (E) Willingness to participate in Intalere cross-functional committees that drive process improvement and client engagement Executes effective solution based selling skills within assigned geography to grow Acute, Non-Acute, Affiliate and Alliance partner's discipline specific knowledge and utilization of Intalere solutions and achieve assigned territory business objectives. Works to successfully generate and process discipline specific sales prospects in order to carefully identifying the best sales opportunities to pursue. (E) Collaborates with assigned Acute, Non-Acute, Affiliate and Alliance partners to accurately identify essential customer needs, to match products and services to those needs, and to understand how those products and services can help members to reduce healthcare costs and improve healthcare quality. (E) Utilizes a high level of emotional intelligence to navigate difficult situations and has a strong understanding of how to navigate various client behavioral styles ensuring confidence in the Intalere total value. Maintains active licensure, certifications in discipline specific area. Asks member probing questions, listens to responses, and appropriately position discipline specific Intalere product/service offerings to address member needs. (M) Accesses and influences decision makers within customer, supplier and industry organizations in efforts to improve proficiency with strategy execution, member connectivity, and discipline specific program growth within Intalere. (M) Executes business objectives in a team selling environment across remote and diverse geographies of members, vendors and Directors of Member Solutions in efforts to grow discipline specific program participation. (E) Supports development of current and future discipline specific offerings and contract utilization efforts within Intalere's Strategic Accounts, Alliances, and Strategic Marketing Affiliates Mines and presents discipline specific data for enhanced programmatic offerings in effort to strengthen strategic and alliance member alignments. (E) Provides timely and accurate discipline specific data to support member business reviews. (M) Leads Member, Vendor, and Industry Engagement. Performs analysis of member spend and procurement data to identify and presents savings offerings and contract utilization improvements in efforts to continuously provide members with new discipline specific contracting opportunities. (M) Works with areas vendor partners to in collaborative sales efforts to grow Intalere and vendor market share. (M) Works with members to drive enhanced contract compliance in pursuit of improved healthcare quality and reduced healthcare costs. (M) Develops discipline specific knowledge of healthcare GPO market, products, services, & competitors in efforts to improve ability to win business. (M) Intalere Brand Awareness Executes discipline specific value add programs within membership of assigned geography to help improve member utilization of Intalere's products and service offerings, reduce costs and improve outcomes and grow members awareness of Intalere solutions. (M) . Requirements: Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy (PharmD preferred) Current license as a pharmacist Equivalent to Acute Care Director of Pharmacy KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of discipline specific healthcare supply chain & distribution. Ability to navigate discipline specific member classes of trade in support of Intalere business objectives. Skilled in generating sales prospect lists, reviewing generated prospecting lists, identifying the best sales opportunities and executing discipline specific strategies, tactics, and tools. Ability to accurately identify essential discipline specific member needs & match products and services to member needs, and to understand how products and services can solve member problems. Ability to close sales in a timely manner. Skilled at initiating and following through with a member until a conclusion is reached. Ability to get first-hand member information and use it to improve discipline specific products and services in an effort to provide superior member service with timely follow-up and to ensure member satisfaction & retention within assigned geography.
