Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district to provide a school Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow, SLP-CFY for the upcoming 2 school year in St. Louis, Missouri. The Speech Language Pathologist, SLP-CFY:Receives district level mentoring throughout the clinical fellowship yearParticipates in the child study, referral and IEP process and provide assessment and information regarding a student's speech/language abilitiesProvides a therapeutic program of instruction to meet individual needs of children with speech /language disabilities with the goal to improve or alleviate communication and swallowing problems and help students achieve their maximum potential in learning, social, prevocational/vocational, and recreational activities.Collaborates with classroom teachers and other school personnel to implement strategies for instruction.Provides consultation to regular education, special education, support staff and parents regarding programming for children with communication needs through appropriate service delivery models.Keeps thorough and ongoing records for identified students.Maintains appropriate records of referrals, screening and assessments.Follows district policies and procedures.Performs such other tasks as may be assigned by supervisor.Caseload details: Middle school, 6-8Bell times: 7:00-2:00Full time or part time schedule preferred, 32.5 hours per week (candidates with 2 days available or more will be considered) Must be well versed in Augmentative Communication, Autism, Cognitive Impairments and BehaviorPay rate: Up to $34.00 per hourJoin Best of Staffing Talent & Client Satisfaction Award Winner of 2018!
