Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Saint Louis, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,130 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year required License: RRT required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Every other weekend required. First-time travelers welcome. Experience with adults and adult critical care in the emergency department required. Level 1 Trauma experience required. Teaching hospital experience required. Experience with Epic charting system required. Description: Every other weekend is required. ACLS, BCLS, and RRT certifications are required. One year of experience is required. Experience in adult critical care and the emergency department is essential. Candidates must have Level 1 Trauma experience. Teaching hospital experience is mandatory. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is required. Required skills include extubation, airway placements, and suctioning. Candidates must be proficient in tracheostomy care and management. Other necessary skills include administering various respiratory medications and operating high-flow devices. The position requires the interpretation of arterial blood gases and basic EKG. Travelers must complete an OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to starting. Fit testing is necessary, and travelers must ensure proper facial hair grooming for a mask seal. Individual cannot work past one year as a traveler without taking a six-month break. Modules are required to be completed before starting, and participation is non-billable.
