Job Description Job Description Direct Support Person Looking for a DSP with experience working in Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) group home setting. Preferably a certified DSP recognized in State of Illinois database. We are willing to train the right candidates. Duties will include: Ensuring the safety and proper care of 3 Residents with Developmental Disabilities. Assisting Residents with achieving their Life goals, Active Daily Living tasks and milestones set by the Agency. Ensuring the CILA home is in compliance with Illinois Dept. of Health and Safety. Assisting Residents with maintaining a clean and sanitary living environment. Assisting Residents prepare meals and engage in healthy and fun activities. Ensuring Residents take their medications as prescribed by their doctor. Assisting Residents on Outings such as Community Events, Parks, Recreation, etc. Ensuring Residents are ready and prepared for workshop if necessary. Participate in Residents' care plan/meetings with guardians and team. Maintaining a Professional attitude at all times. Being prepared for State inspections by being knowledgeable all CILA rules. ULTIMATELY, being dedicated to doing whatever it takes to help provide a caring and nurturing environment for a Resident of our CILA home. Other duties as instructed.
