experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in step-down care,
working primarily night shifts in an acute care hospital setting.
This position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment,
caring for patients on the Step Down Unit. Nurses will manage
complex patient care involving titration of vasopressors, sedation
medications, insulin drips, tracheostomy vents, arterial lines,
external pacemakers, and chest tubes. This role requires
maintaining clinical skills with bedside experience within the last
six months. Location: Situated in Saint Louis, MO, this acute care
hospital features 233 staffed beds and a collaborative clinical
team. Nurses here utilize EPIC charting software and enjoy free
parking in a well-equipped facility known for quality patient care.
Schedule: Nights: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30
AM) Weekend Requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend
(Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday based on rotation)
Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 2 years recent RN Step-Down
experience; first-timers with recent bedside skills are welcome
Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certification Ability
to float within the facilitys lower acuity floors as needed Current
license or pending license accepted; must be within 75-mile radius
if local Responsibilities: Monitor and manage critical patient care
including advanced interventions and continuous drips Collaborate
with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care
plans Adhere to all hospital policies, safety procedures, and chart
