Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience - Telemetry monitoring experience - IV management skills - Knowledge of isolation precautions Description: This position requires a Neuro Medical-Surgical Nurse for night shifts. The nurse will provide care for adults in a telemetry monitored environment. Ratios are 1 nurse to 6 patients. Weekends are required, with a commitment of 2 shifts every other weekend. Orientation will be provided for 40 hours before starting the role. The nurse may float within scope to meet facility needs, excluding certain high-acuity units. Candidates should have previous experience in a similar clinical environment. Responsibilities include starting and maintaining IVs and patient monitoring. BCLS and NIHSS certifications must be current. The role involves caring for patients with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. There are no restrictions regarding on-call duties for this position.
