Job Description Additional Information About the Role - Monday -
Friday; No weekends or holidays - At least 2 years of experience in
Oncology nursing role required - OCN certification preferred -
Located at 3015 North Ballas Road, Town & Country Barnes-Jewish
Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest

staff is composed of full-time academic faculty and community
physicians of Washington University School of Medicine, supported
by a house staff of residents, interns, fellows and other medical
professionals. Recognizing its excellence in nursing care,
Barnes-Jewish Hospital was the first adult hospital in Missouri to
be certified as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center. The Outpatient Cancer Center provides
intravenous administration of medication, chemotherapy,
immunotherapy, and blood products. Direct specialized patient care
and education for the outpatient Oncology population, including
Hematology patient population and non-Oncology infusions. Overview
Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Creates and implement staff
education and professional development activities and programs that
optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities - Assesses, plans,
implements, and evaluates ongoing educational and professional
development activities and programs for clinical and non-clinical
areas. - Collaborates with staff and representatives of other
organizations to develop, present and or evaluate clinically
focused training, continuing education and or professional
development opportunities. - Participates in activities that
promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance. - Collaborates
with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and
develops appropriate education plan. - Participates in professional
development and life long learning. Minimum Requirements Education
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Experience - 2-5 years Supervisor
Experience - No Experience Licenses & Certifications - RN Preferred
Requirements Education - Master's Degree - Nursing Experience -
5-10 years Licenses & Certifications - Basic Cardiovascular Life
