Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State License
required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Experience in
telemetry - Ability to manage cardiac drips and perform sheath
pulls - Central line management Description: 12-hour day shift,
three days a week on a high-risk cardiac unit. Patient ratios are
1:5-6. First-timers accepted. Every other weekend required. ACLS
and BLS certifications are required. On-call requirement is not
applicable. Clinician may float to meet facility needs. Block
scheduling is not accommodated. Local candidates are not accepted
within 75 miles. Pending licenses are not accepted. Candidates must
manage cardiac drips without titration. Required skills include
interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pre/post cardiac
surgery, and advanced airway management. Specialty procedures
include cardiac drip management, sheath pulls, and central line
care. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy,
respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Patients will
present with cardiac diagnoses, including post-operative care and
mixed medical issues related to underlying heart conditions. No
background hits or DUIs are accepted. Travelers may be required to
float within service lines. References may be required.
Certifications must be obtained by the compliance deadline.
