Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 4x12 shift schedule with 48 guaranteed hours per week • Weekend hours as needed with standard expectation of every other full weekend • Must work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) • Float requirements as needed/customary upon request • Patient ratios typically 4-6:1 on 7E floor • Care for 50% medical/50% tele adult patients only • Use standard nursing equipment on tele unit with EPIC EMR system • Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS • Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required • Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1 • Black scrubs required for dress code • Up to 5 days of requested time off can be automatically approved per 13-week period • Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments • Must be a team player with superior communication skills focused on positive patient outcomes Facility: This healthcare organization has been providing healing presence in the St. Louis region for more than 150 years, offering compassionate medical and specialty care on a centrally located campus.
