Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel
nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis,
Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 26 weeks - 36 hours
per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN
Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed
for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside
experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5
weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the
initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n
Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Night shift
from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM /n• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week
(must be specified on submission form) /n• 13-week assignment
length /n• Work every other weekend as required /n• No call
requirements /n• Patient ratio 1:6-7 on night shift /n• May be
floated to other units depending on staffing needs /n• Care for
30-bed unit specializing in surgical patients (GI, GU, Plastics,
Overflow Ortho) /n• Work with equipment including Alaris IV pumps,
Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps, wound vacs, SCD machines, PCA
pumps, low air loss mattresses, and remote telemetry monitors /n•
Use EPIC electronic medical record system /n• Required: Current RN
license eligible for Missouri licensure, BLS from AHA, minimum 1
year Med Surg inpatient experience /n• Preferred certifications:
ACLS from AHA, TNCC /n• Dress code: Black scrubs, Mercy M Wear only
/n• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be
available entire orientation week /n• Flu vaccination required
November 1-April 1 /n• Provide direct patient care for post-trauma,
surgical, and medical comorbidity patients /n• Utilize nursing
process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
/n• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments /n/n
