Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts in cardiac telemetry unit • Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3x12 schedule • Patient ratios of 1:5-6 patients • 2 years of nursing experience required • Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts in 6-week period • Must float within service line to meet facility needs • 7 days maximum RTO per 13-week contract • Required certifications: BCLS and NIH • Preferred certifications: ACLS and CPI • Must be proficient in telemetry/reading rhythms • Experience with cardiac medications and drips (no titration required) • Navy scrubs required • Epic charting system experience required • Must be comfortable with external pacemakers and chest tube monitoring • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) • First-time travelers accepted • 38 hours of orientation provided • No on-call requirements Facility: This acute care hospital features 233 staffed beds and provides comprehensive cardiac care services. The facility operates a 28-bed cardiac telemetry unit with a daily census of 14 patients, specializing in TAVR procedures, pre and post cardiac surgery care, and telemetry monitoring.
