Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work in ENT and Plastic Surgery unit caring for patients with complex needs • Patient ratio of 1:5 with guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract • Every other weekend requirement • 2 years of experience required (will consider 1 year with Level I/Teaching facility experience) • Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS • Must be comfortable with telemetry monitoring • Specialized care includes tracheostomy/total laryngectomy care, free flap monitoring, drain care, and tube feeding • Perform phlebotomy, IV access, and central line management • Care for patients with cuffed/cuffless tracheostomies, total laryngectomies, carotid blow out precautions • Navy blue scrubs required • EPIC charting system experience required • Will float within scope to meet facility needs • 36 hours of orientation provided • Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract • No RTO allowed first week of assignment • Must reside outside 75-mile radius (local candidates not accepted) • Pending Missouri license accepted Facility: This is a premier Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center with 1,266 staffed beds.
