Job Description:
ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med
Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN -
Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week -
Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN -
Med Surg Job Details: • Work with trauma patients on a Med/Surg
unit specializing in Level I trauma care • Available for 36 or 48
hours per week scheduling • Patient ratios of 1:4-5 • Every other
weekend requirement • Float within service line as needed • 2 years
of nursing experience required • Travel experience required •
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (BSN and TNCC preferred) • Must
pass Relias EKG exam with interpretation and management of
dysrhythmias • EPIC charting system experience required • Navy blue
scrubs required • No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract •
Care for patients from ED, OR, or ICU with diagnoses including
geriatric trauma (55), abuse/violence victims, MVA, falls, acute
care surgery cases • Skills required: blood product administration,
peripheral line care, phlebotomy, IV management, insulin
administration, PCA, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury,
ortho trauma, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, wound care, isolation
precautions • Work with special equipment including lifts,
restraints, wound vacs, traction, and external fixators •
Guaranteed hours provided • No on-call requirements Facility: This
healthcare facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and
Level I Trauma Center with 1,266 staffed beds. The medical/surgical
trauma unit has 63 beds across 31 rooms with a daily census of
50-55 patients. The facility provides comprehensive
interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory
services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams. The
organization maintains high standards for patient care and
specializes in treating complex trauma cases, acute care surgery,
and geriatric trauma patients. Location: Saint Louis, MO Saint
