Registered Nurse – Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) Location: Mercy Hospital Department: Cardiac Progressive Care Schedule: Full-Time / Nights Employment Type: Non Exempt ________________________________________ Overview Mercy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU). In this role, you will provide high quality, patient centered care to adults with complex cardiac conditions who require continuous monitoring and specialized nursing support. Our CPCU team delivers exceptional care in a collaborative, mission driven environment anchored in Mercy’s values of service, dignity, justice, excellence, and stewardship. ________________________________________ Position Details: Education: Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program. Licensure: Must be eligible to take board of nursing exam. Experience: None. Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. Other: Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Stand and walk most of the time on duty. Meet unit specific physical demands. Significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance. May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work frequency according to patient care requirements. High risk exposure to blood and body fluids. Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
