Job Description:
SSM Health, a distinguished Catholic, not-for-profit health
system, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our
Med Surg 7S Bordley team. This role is pivotal in delivering
top-tier care as part of our integrated health network, which
emphasizes patient-centered service across the Midwest. This
position involves providing direct and comprehensive nursing care
for our medical-surgical patients within a supportive and dynamic
team environment. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient
care plans in a medical-surgical environment. Monitor patient
progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Administer medications
and maintain detailed records of patient therapy. Educate patients
and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical
procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Collaborate
with multidisciplinary team members to provide patient-focused
care. Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations
regarding medical-surgical nursing care. Strong clinical skills in
a medical-surgical setting. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic medical record
(EMR) systems. Ability to make quick and accurate assessments of
patient conditions. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the
state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
