Department: Obstetric Work Schedule: Hybrid. Mostly Monday-Friday,
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, but can vary based on activity. Preferred

plans, implements, and evaluates activities planning for an
assigned service or population. Job Responsibilities and
Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates with community
partner leaders an staff to assess learning needs. Develops,
implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs which may
utilize methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate achievement of
learning goals. Provides technical assistance and leadership to
community healthcare professionals as related to education programs
and/or quality improvement (QI) projects. Identifies and/or
develops teaching tools and instructional materials. Keeps records
of educational activities and prepares reports. Applies the
existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge
in health care to nursing practice, ensuring that nursing care is
delivered based on patient’s age-specific needs and clinical needs
as described in the department's scope of service. Works in a
constant state of alertness and safe manner. Performs other duties
as assigned. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a nursing
certification in a related field (to be obtained within 6 months of
hire) or Master's degree in Nursing EXPERIENCE Five years'
registered nurse experience in the field of position applied for.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling
objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking,
reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Frequent
use of hearing and speech to share information through oral
communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery,
etc. Frequent keyboard use/data entry. Occasional bending,
stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. Occasional
lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
