Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night Emergency Department position requiring a MO or compact license and ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and PALS certifications. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is based in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital - Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 17:45 to 6:15 - Nursing ratio is 1:4 - Patients include a broad emergency/critical population - Charting is done using Epic; Epic experience is required - Requires working every 3rd weekend - Floating within scope required to meet facility needs - Navy scrubs are required - No on-call requirements - Parking is provided at no cost - No restrictions on requested time off, with a limit of 7 days per 13-week contract and no RTO during the first week of orientation - Travel engagements can last up to 18 months with a 3-month break after - Holiday coverage may be required as per unit needs /n /n Requirements/n - Active MO or compact RN license required - Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department RN experience - Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS, and PALS - CPI and TNCC certifications preferred - Epic charting experience required - Not open to first-time travelers - Cannot reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility - Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-673164.
