Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical/Tele Oncology night shift assignment requiring EPIC experience and a MO or compact RN license. Responsibilities - Work in a Medical Surgical Oncology/Tele unit within an acute care hospital setting - Night shifts are 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30 - Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5-6 - Care for medical, surgical, and oncology patients - Floating may be required within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed - Weekend shifts required: two shifts every other weekend, with specific days dependent on shift rotations - Use of EPIC EMR is required - Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler - Travelers may stay for 18 months with a required 3-month break after that period - A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is permitted per 13 week contract, with no time off allowed during the first week of orientation - Scrub color is navy - Parking is free for staff - Fit testing for respiratory protection is required and facial hair must allow for proper seal - Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start - No local candidates are permitted within a 75-mile radius Requirements - Valid MO or compact RN license required - Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience - Current certifications required: BCLS and NIH - Fire safety certification required - EPIC charting experience required - References may be requested for consideration - No candidates living within 75 miles of the facility - First-time travelers are accepted Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-663598.
