ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Neuro Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 13-week assignment length • Choose between 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours • Weekend work required every other weekend as needed • No call requirements • Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed • 1 year of Med Surg experience required (inpatient only) • 1 year of Neuro experience preferred • Current RN license required (Missouri eligibility or current Missouri license) • BLS from AHA certification required • ACLS from AHA certification preferred • Black scrubs required as dress code • Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation • Work with EPIC electronic medical records system • Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities • Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments • Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, lifting and turning patients with assistance • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1 Facility: This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for more than 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
