Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Orthopedic Location: Saint Louis, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,876 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63128! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar setting License: Current RN License in the state Certifications: BLS from AHA required; ACLS from AHA preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience in an inpatient orthopedic setting. Teamwork, dependability, and flexibility are essential traits. Description: The position involves direct patient care activities for all age groups. You will perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to ensure effective patient care. You will maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care. The role requires checking the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers. You will coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Patient rights and confidentiality of patient information will be maintained at all times. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time on duty. You may need to engage in significant bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance. Working schedules may vary according to patient care requirements. Exposure to blood and body fluids is a high risk in this position. Capable of pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs is required. Kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally may be required.
