ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - CVICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week (option for 48 hours available) • 13-16 week assignment preferred • Patient ratio of 1:2 • Every other weekend requirement • Must have 2 years of Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required • Float within service line when needed • Must pass Relias EKG examination • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, BSN • Navy blue scrubs required • EPIC charting system experience preferred • Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility • Maximum 2 time-off requests allowed (no more than 40 hours total during contract) • Care for patients with acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, post cardiac arrest, complete heart block, cardiogenic shock, pre-heart transplant, arrhythmias • Manage ventilators, arterial lines, pulmonary artery catheters, pacemakers, Impellas, balloon pumps, LVADs • Administer vasoactive drips, manage central lines, PA/TVP catheter monitoring, dialysis support • Work with intra-aortic balloon pumps, LVADs, and Impella devices Facility: This major healthcare facility is a Magnet and Teaching Hospital with Level I Trauma Center designation, featuring 1,266 staffed beds. The facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular intensive care services with a 20-bed CVICU unit maintaining a daily census of 14 patients. The organization offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support.
