ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 48 hours per week commitment • Patient ratio of 1:2 • Every other weekend required • Must have 2 years of ICU experience - first-time travelers not accepted • Float within service line to other ICU units as needed • No on-call requirements • 36-hour orientation provided • Navy scrubs required • Epic charting system experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale • Must be comfortable with Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, and various critical care procedures • Care for patients with respiratory failure/ARDS, acute cardiac conditions, stroke, cardiac arrest, DKA, multi-organ failure, and sepsis • Manage pre and post-operative cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal surgeries • Handle medicine and neuro-medicine overflow patients • Provide pre and post-transplant care and end-of-life/organ donation care • Work with specialized equipment including IV pumps, CRRT/dialysis, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and defibrillators • Skills required include arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation • Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract • Must reside at least 75 miles from facility Facility: This healthcare facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center with 1,259 staffed beds.
