ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • 13 or 26 week contract options available with 36 or 48 hours per week • Patient ratio of 1:2 • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required • Every other weekend requirement • Float within service line to ICU units as needed • Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks with cancelled shifts maintained at regular shift length • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH • Must be comfortable with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Experience required with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management • Skills needed include 12 lead EKG/ECG, CVP monitoring, pulmonary artery line monitoring • Arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care • PICC line management, IV start and maintenance, continuous IV sedation • Emergency medications, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration • CVA/acute stroke management, BiPAP assistance, ventilated patient care • ABG interpretation, respiratory failure management, ETT/NT suctioning • Ventilator management, infection prevention, isolation precautions • Phlebotomy and surgical wound care with drains/wound vac • Epic charting system experience required • Navy scrubs required • 36 hours of orientation provided • No on-call requirements • Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed per unit Facility: This major healthcare facility is a Magnet and teaching hospital with Level I trauma center designation, featuring 1,259 staffed beds.
