Job Description:
ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU -
Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis,
Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU -
Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work
12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week • Patient ratio of
1:2 for days, nights, and weekends • Every other weekend required •
Float within oncology floors, oncology service line, and ICUs with
potential to float anywhere in facility • No on-call requirements •
Must pass Relias EKG exam for interpretation and management of
dysrhythmias • 2 years of ICU experience required • Required
certifications: BCLS, ACLS • Preferred: BSN degree • Epic
experience required • First-time travelers accepted • Maximum 7
days RTO per 13-week contract • Navy blue scrubs required • No
chemotherapy administration (handled by staff nurses) • Manage
central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, blood product
administration • Draw own phlebotomy • Skills include:
interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ
failure care, IV insulin protocols, continuous IV sedation,
procedural sedation, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, BiPAP,
ventilated patient care, high flow nasal cannula, ABG
interpretation, wound care with drains/wound vac • Patient
population includes BMT/oncology/medical overflow/surgical patients
• Work with interdisciplinary team including IV teams, pharmacy,
respiratory, radiology, and rapid response teams Facility: This
major healthcare facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital
and Level I Trauma Center with 1,266 staffed beds. The facility
specializes in short-term acute care and maintains a 25-bed ICU
unit with an average daily census of 21 patients. The organization
utilizes Epic charting system and provides comprehensive support
services including interpretation services, specialized teams, and
advanced medical equipment for critical care. Location: Saint
Louis, MO Saint Louis offers a vibrant metropolitan environment
