working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Saint
Louis, Missouri, 63110! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years of Cardiac/CVICU Experience Required
License: Valid State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS,
BSN Must-Have: - Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience - ICU, ventilator
management, arterial line management - Pulmonary artery catheter
management, pacemakers, impellas, balloon pumps - Acute heart
failure, CHF exacerbation, fluid overload, post cardiac arrest -
Complete heart block, cardiogenic shock, pre-heart transplant,
arrhythmias - Ventricular tachycardia, vasoactive drips, central
lines - PA/TVP catheter monitoring Description: Can sign for 36 or
48 hours per week. 16 weeks preferred, but will take 13 weeks.
Start date is 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier. Patient ratio is
1:2. First-timers are not accepted. Weekend coverage is required
every other weekend. Clinician may float within scope to meet
facility needs. Local candidates will not be accepted. Pending
licenses are accepted. Up to 2 requests for time off are allowed,
with a maximum total of 40 hours (5 days) of time off during the
contract. Candidates must have extensive experience in cardiac and
CVICU settings. No neuro experience is required. Skills include: -
Management of blood products - Care of ventilated patients -
Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) - Management of acute
renal failure - Use of IV insulin protocols - Starting and
maintaining IVs - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of
multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Additional skills in dialysis
and intra-aortic balloon pumps are necessary. Candidates will
require passing an EKG exam. Compliance deadline requirements will
