Registered Nurse (RN) | Registered Nurse First Assistant Location: Saint Louis, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,332 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified RNFA RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63136! Job Title: RNFA Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: RNFA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 5 years as RN, with at least 3 years as RNFA Experience in orthopedic, general, and spine surgeries required License: Must hold a valid state license Certifications: BLS required Certification as a RNFA required (CSFA, SFA, etc. will NOT be accepted) Must-Have: Ability to work in an acute inpatient operating room setting Willingness to participate in a privileging process required Description: The RNFA position requires a skilled Registered Nurse First Assistant. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse is necessary. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience specifically as an RNFA. The RNFA should possess knowledge and skills in orthopedic, general, and spine surgeries. The position involves participating in surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and care. Call coverage is required, including 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 8 weeks. Weekend work is required once every 8 weeks. Successful candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills. Frank knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures is essential. Experience with charting systems is required, specifically in the context of surgical settings. Candidates should be adaptable and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
