ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PACU Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday with rotating start times as needed • Rotate primarily between PACU and pre/post interventional radiology area within PACU unit • No weekends, no call, and no holiday requirements • 2 years of experience required with Level I Trauma Center experience mandatory • Critical care experience required for high acuity patients • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCRN preferred, TNCC preferred • Must pass Relias EKG exam • Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract • Will float within scope to PACU or PreOp units only • Care for patients requiring artificial airways, invasive monitoring including ICP, transfusions, and vasoactive drugs • Recover surgical patients from neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant • Does not recover open heart surgeries or liver transplants • Skills required: dysrhythmia recognition/management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, care of ventilated patients • Experience with drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia required • Night shift must learn preop patient workup • Scrub color: Navy blue • EPIC charting system • No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract • Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility Facility: This major academic medical center is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center with 1,273 total staffed beds.
