Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - CCU Job Details: • Work night shifts floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac/Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID • ICU patient ratio of 2:1 for all shifts • Float to inpatient floors when needed with ratio no more than 1:3 • May be utilized as patient sitter if needed when census is low in ICU • Every other weekend requirement or 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule plus holiday rotation • 2 years of experience required with minimum 1 year CV ICU experience beneficial • Travel experience required - will not accept first time travelers • Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS • Preferred certifications: Chemo, CCRN, NIH, ONS, TNCC, CPI • Required skills: Vents, IV start, Tele, Conscious Sedation • Preferred skills: Swans-hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, Vasoactive drips, CRRT, Triage, ICP, PA lines, Level 1 Trauma Experience • EPIC charting experience strongly preferred • Navy blue scrub color required • Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only • Care for adult and geriatric patients with rare adolescent patients (16-18 years, adult size/weight) • No local candidates within 75 mile radius accepted Facility: This short-term acute care facility operates a comprehensive ICU float pool system serving multiple specialized intensive care units.
