This clinic provides expert care across various fields, including: - - Dermatology - Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) - Neurology & Neurosurgery - Orthopedics (Foot & Ankle, Hand, Reconstruction, Spine Surgery, Trauma) - Otology - Urology Staffed by resident physicians completing advanced training and advance practice nurses, the clinic focuses on providing exceptional outpatient care, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. It serves a diverse patient population, many from the St. Louis metropolitan area, and aims to provide accessible, high-quality care to all, including those with Medicaid and uninsured individuals. The clinic runs 1/2 day to whole day clinics Monday thru Friday from . We are closed on weekends and major holidays. The staff consists of RNs, Clerical, and the Resident Physicians who rotate through our clinic for their outpatient educational experience. The clinic sees about 13,000 patients a year. We treat a range a medical problems from fractures, minor excisions, evaluations for surgery, etc. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care. Responsibilities - Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration. - Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development. - Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care. - Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
