Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a travel assignment. Responsibilities - Assignment is in both inpatient and outpatient MRI settings - Performs scans including brain (perfusion, functional, spectroscopy), body (enterography, defecography), musculoskeletal, breast (including biopsies), and spine studies - Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday - Weekend call required Friday through Sunday approximately every 4 to 6 weeks - Must be available to work 4 out of the 7 major holidays, or 2 out of the 4 holidays if contract ends prior to Christmas - Weekend and holiday coverage is required with no exceptions - OSHA respirator clearance and FIT testing are required, and employees must be clean shaven for FIT testing - Orientation modules must be completed prior to start and are included in recorded transcripts - Travelers may not work more than 1 year consecutively and must take a 6 month break before returning - Scrub requirements and additional department-specific policies may apply Requirements - Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience - Current ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required - License required if applicable - Must provide 2 professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years - Candidates must reside at least 70 miles from the facility to be eligible Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629010.
