ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be indicated on submission) • 13-week assignment length • Work every other weekend as required by facility • No call requirements • Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units • 1 year Med Surg experience required (inpatient only) • Current RN license meeting Missouri eligibility criteria required • BLS from AHA required, ACLS from AHA preferred • Patient ratio: 1:5-6 • 60-bed unit caring for medical patients • Equipment includes bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, wound vacs • EMR system: EPIC • Black scrubs required • Night shift orients on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1 • Utilize nursing process to provide patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance Facility: This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for more than 140 years, earning a B grade in The Leapfrog Group's Spring 2025 Hospital Safety Grade.
