Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with Epic
experience and a MO or compact RN license for a major hospital
setting. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital case management role
covering all units except psychiatric and women/infants -
Assignment is 12 weeks with a Monday to Friday 40-hour work week -
Shifts are days, either 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm, based on
unit needs - Patient population spans multiple units with a
facility census of 1000 beds - Floating required within the
hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals - Epic and Allscripts
are the charting systems used - Responsibilities include completing
patient assessments, attending interdisciplinary rounds, and
initiating referrals for home health, DME, SNF, LTACHs, and IRFs -
Must participate in fit testing with facial hair policy for
compliance - No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius -
Permanent staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler -
Modules must be completed before orientation and will be
compensated up to 16 hours - No requested time off is allowed
during the first week of assignment; no more than 7 days RTO per
13-week contract Requirements - Active MO or compact RN license
required - Minimum 2 years of case management experience in a
facility with 1000 beds required - Epic charting experience
preferred - Academic medical center experience preferred -
References preferred for consideration - No first-time travelers
